On Monday, November 3, 2025, McLeod High School NHS hosted the Brandon Goyne Foundation. The Brandon Goyne Foundation, based in Waskom, Texas, is a non-profit organization dedicated to championing the cause for heart testing among students, student athletes, and adults. Their mission is to provide low cost EKGs to help identify heart conditions that might otherwise go undetected. This year, the foundation completed 33 EKGs on McLeod ISD students and staff.
